There are four Crime Watch ALERT NUMBERS, one assigned to each sector of the city, and any citizen can call to listen to Crime Watch Bulletins in any sector. Our Kimberlea neighborhood is in Sector C.
A sector's ALERT NUMBER is (972) 334-8410
B sector's ALERT NUMBER is (972) 334-8420
C sector's ALERT NUMBER is (972) 334-8430
D sector's ALERT NUMBER is (972) 334-8440
The Plano Police Crime Watch Unit posts the Crime Watch messages. The benefit of this system is any citizen can call any sector to listen to bulletins posted for that sector. We will drop the alert signs in the neighborhood as we have in the past when activity in our sector warrants.
In addition, our neighborhood Crime Watch has its own, individual voice mailbox. This mailbox is designed to allow residents of Kimberlea to leave a message for the Crime Watch Coordinator.
Here's how Kimberlea residents can leave a message for the Crime Watch Coordinator: CALL (972) 334-8400. Please listen to the entire message, and then follow the instructions, which will ask for the MAILBOX NUMBER. Kimberlea's MAILBOX NUMBER IS 9210041. The Crime Watch Coordinator will pass the information along to the Police Department. Leave your number if you want the Coordinator to call you back. As always, if you have an ongoing emergency, call 911.
